Where is Little Hands Preschool located?
LHP is located within the Or Chadash Synagogue campus on Kings Valley Road in Damascus, MD.
Is Little Hands Preschool religious?
LHP is a non-denominational, non-religious school. We are grateful to the Or Chadash community for allowing us to use their classrooms during the day, but we are not a Jewish school.
What are the class sizes?
Every class at LHP has a 10 student maximum.
Does Little Hands Preschool organize field trips?
We do! We love our yearly trip to the pumpkin patch and we host many in school field trips including visits from community service members like the fire and police departments, as well as other professionals like veterinarians, dentists, nurses and more!
Does Little Hands Preschool offer any discounts?
We do! There is a sibling discount that provides 10% off the second child’s tuition. Additionally, we offer a 5% discount to active military families.
How does LHP ensure child safety?
Safety is our absolute TOP priority at LHP. Our doors remained locked at all times outside of drop off and pick up windows. We have a camera doorbell (just like all MCPS schools do!) so we can see anyone who comes to the door before welcoming them in. We also practice drills with our students that involve safely and efficiently exiting the building should there be an emergency of any kind.
